Making Measurable Impacts: Cross-sectoral Collaboration on the Eradication of Child Labour.

Child labour still plagues our communities with numbers still on the high: 138 million children affected around the world.  The goal of NTK is to eradicate child labour through a threefold strategy: Prevention, corporate  enforcement and accountability, and Rehabilitation of young affected lives. These pillars are interlinked: empowerment reduces demand for child labour, inspections prevent supply of child‑exploited goods, and rehabilitation repairs the damage. To achieve this, it is important to factor in the roles and contributions of different sectors. The eradication of child labour is not a one man job, which is why NTK serves as an intersectoral bridge, by bringing together collaborates. This convening will bring together NGOs, government agencies, international organisations, companies, philanthropic foundations and CSR leaders to move beyond rhetoric and design coordinated, measurable interventions.
